CMS VATAVARAN 2006, India’s premier environment and wildlife traveling film festival was organised in Chennai at Kalaivanar Arangam by the Centre for Media Studies (CMS), New Delhi, in collaboration with C P R Environmental Education Centre, Chennai. The festival showcased award winning Indian films and an array of films on topical, Indian environment and wildlife issues.

The festival also had a host of activities such as Film Bazaar, Wildlife Photography exhibition and discussions with eminent filmmakers. Film Bazaar will provide an opportunity to people to buy exclusive and intriguing CMS Vatavaran films. A workshop on "Environmental Film Making – Opportunities and Constrains", was organized as a part of the festival at CPREEC. |
